Rumbly Tumbly

Rumbly Tumbly... that pretty much describes Michelle's stomach after the CT scan today! Something about drinking that liquid barium, or whatever that pink-colored chalky drink is, and having it work through your system that results in undesirable after-effects! At least she could smile and laugh about it; between trips to the bathroom that is!

The scan went fine; pretty much uneventful and they even gave us a CD of the images. Party at our house... you all can come over and see more of Michelle than you probably want to! Wooo hooo! Well, maybe not since we have to drop the CD off at the Oncologist's office tomorrow, sorry! Prayerfully the Oncologist will be able to get one of his colleagues there at the Cancer Clinic to look over the scan images so we won't have to wait for the doctor from the imaging center to generate a report. We shall see; that would be a good thing to pray for!

Tomorrow is the PET scan. If you want to have a little info on what that will be like you can go to:
http://www.radiologyinfo.org/en/info.cfm?pg=pet .

As we ponder the path set before us, we are so encouraged through the Word of God, which never fails to provide us a hope that will not disappoint! Consider:

"Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us." (Rom 5:1-5, NKJV)

May you join us daily, moment by moment, in experiencing the abundant grace of God available only through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ, which allows us to stand and rejoice in the midst of the storm. No matter what, our hope is secure and our future assured! Thank you all for your prayers; we can feel them! We love you... -Steve-
